Hardware
Maintenance
|

We provide a comprehensive
hardware maintenance service, with levels of support tailored to
suit individual sites. |

Next day hardware maintenance
for a PC would cost as little as £8 per month to include all
parts, labour and travel to and from site.
|

We also cover printers from £6
per month, servers from £14 per month, depending on
specification and are happy to quote on network equipment and
telephone switches. |

PC Hardware &
Upgrade Service
|
|
We can supply
both new and refurbished computer systems and parts, including
system components, printers, monitors, keyboards, mice,
Microsoft Operating System and Office products and also offer a
comprehensive PC upgrade service, for which we supply and
install a new up to date HP or Dell business specification system base unit
starting from £650.00 + VAT.

As part of this
service we will deliver and set up the new unit, transfer user
documents from your existing system, set up and import email,
install and configure application software (providing properly
licensed source media is available at the time of installation)
and load printer drivers. |

Server Supply,
Upgrade & Support
|
|
Over the years, we
have seen many clients grow from single PC systems, via
peer-to-peer, to full server based systems. We supply
and support a full range of servers, ranging from
Microsoft Small Business Servers right up to distributed
file, print, email and terminal servers with Active
Directory structures across Wide Area Networks. |
|
We offer a regular systems check from as
little as £50.00 + VAT per month to
ensure that routine server processes are operating
correctly and to identify potential issues before they
become crises. In the case of a Microsoft Small Business
Server, we would check the SBS dashboard, the server
backups (tape, and external HDD), the Anti-Virus
Console, and clear the Event logs periodically. We would
also carry out any required Windows Updates on the
server and deploy required updates to desktops. We would
then advise the customer of any issues discovered during
these checks, so that they can decide whether or not
they want us to take further action. Whilst this service
is in no way a guarantee against server problems, it is
a valuable step towards avoiding them. As a condition of
this service we do require that the customer provide a
suitable removable hard drive so that we can correctly
configure Microsoft backup, as this will enable us to
restore the Server Operating System in the event of a
hardware failure much faster and thus reduce down time.
This drive can be obtained by the customer, or we can
supply a suitable (500GB) USB external drive for around
£60 + VAT*. We recommend the continued use of a suitable
magnetic tape or RDX type daily backup and storage of
customer data. |

Network Installation
& Cabling

utilising quality cabling components from Excel.
